Many of the Smart-Assed Essays reprinted here were originally Smart-Assed Editorials in The Companion, the newsletter for The Society of Dirty Old Men, as I mentioned in the Biography page. As such, they will offend the fragile sensibilities of many. Please bear this in mind as you read, and if you find your fragile sensibilities have been offended, I suggest you take up the matter with either Den Smutsiga Gubben or J. Arlington Doe, principles of the above mentioned organization. Or you could simply read something else. The Web is World-Wide, and I am confident you will be able to find something more to your taste.
